While a Collision Digimon is attacking, every opposing Digimon gains Blocker and your opponent has to block if they can. Your attack becomes forced removal, dragging out bodies that were hiding while you hit security. A big-DP attacker with Collision clears boards that a passive opponent would otherwise never expose.
16-30-1. <Collision> is a keyword effect. While a Digimon with this effect is attacking, all of your opponent's Digimon gain <Blocker> and the opponent player is forced to block whenever possible during the block timing. 16-30-2. <Collision> is a persistent effect. (For details, refer to 15-8-2 "Persistent Effects") 16-30-3. <Collision> will activate while the Digimon with this effect is attacking. 16-30-4. "All of your opponent's Digimon gain <Blocker>" in <Collision> is processing that affects Digimon. "The opponent player is forced to block whenever possible" is processing that affects the opponent player.

I have a Digimon with this card in its digivolution cards, and another of my Digimon with <Collision> is attacking. I used the <Collision> effect to give <Blocker> to an opponent's Digimon that didn't originally have <Blocker>, and it blocks. At such times, if both Digimon have the same DP, they both lose the battle, and they're deleted, does this card's inherited effect trigger?
Yes, it triggers.
