Why We Built This

We built Combalo because explaining a combo in a TCG should be as fun as pulling it off. If you've ever tried to describe a complex multi-step combo in a forum post or Discord message, you know the struggle — walls of text, confusing card references, and no easy way to show what actually happens at each step.

Combalo lets you show your combo instead of just telling it. Build it as a sequence of events, beat by beat — like the stories format, but for card games. Your audience can swipe through each turn and follow exactly how the pieces come together.

What You Can Do

Event-Based Combo Builder — Build your combo as a sequence of events, turn by turn: play a card, make a choice, move a piece, or set a game state. Group events into turns, branch into alternate lines, and set the goal you're aiming for. No walls of text — just the play, step by step.

Story-Style Viewer — Read combos like stories. Swipe through each beat, turn by turn, and follow exactly what happens and why, with the key plays called out along the way.

Share with the Community — Publish your combos (public, unlisted, or private), get likes and comments, follow other builders, and discover what the community is creating through the feed, search, and trending. Learn new strategies and share your own.

Multi-Game Support, Digimon First — Built with more games in mind. Right now Combalo covers Digimon TCG and is in beta; more games may follow as the community grows.

Card data and images come from the community-maintained TakaOtaku/Digimon-Card-App dataset, and all combos and write-ups are created by community members.
