When your opponent declares an attack, you can suspend a Digimon with Blocker to drag the attack onto it instead of your security. It's your main way to protect the stack without spending memory on defense. One Digimon only gets one block per attack no matter how many instances of Blocker it has, so spreading blockers across several bodies matters more than stacking them on one.
