Overflow is the tax on Digimon ACE cards: when the card leaves the field or slides out from under another card, the memory marker moves by the listed value, and it happens immediately, mid-effect if needed. ACEs are cheap to play precisely because Overflow bills you later, so the trick is making sure the bill comes due on your terms. Time the exit right and the memory swing lands on a turn where it barely hurts.
4-18-1. <Overflow> is a rule on Digimon ACE cards. When a card with <Overflow> moves from the field or from under a card to another area, the memory marker is moved according to the value specified for <Overflow>. 4-18-2.
