Susanoomon: Ten Dead Cards Turn a Tamer Into a Lv.7

Susanoomon does not need a board. It needs ten Tamer or Hybrid cards, from your hand or your trash, put at the bottom of your deck, and then it digivolves out of one of your Tamers as if that Tamer were a Lv.6. It arrives deleting something and it checks three security cards per attack, so the turn it lands is usually the turn the game gets short. Costs and card text are the printed ones.

Koji Minamoto (BT7-087)5 Q&A

I have P-153 [MagnaGarurumon] with this card in digivolution cards in the battle area. I activated this card's inherited effect, then I used P-153 [MagnaGarurumon]'s ＜End Of Attack＞ effect to place P-153 [MagnaGarurumon] as my top security card, and this card became the Digimon's top card. At such times, does this card still have "this Digimon can't be blocked for the turn"?

Yes, it still has it. If this Digimon digivolves into a Digimon again during this turn, that Digimon can't be blocked for the turn.(Nov 1, 2024)

Does this card's inherited effect activate when an opponent's effect returns one of my Digimon to its owner's hand?

Yes, it does.(Mar 28, 2024)

Can I activate this card's ＜Main Timing＞ effect to place 5 cards with [Hybrid] in their traits under this Tamer from my hand, and then choose not to digivolve into [MagnaGarurumon]?

Yes. The card text reads, “you may,” so you can choose to only place 5 cards with [Hybrid] in their traits under this Tamer without digivolving.(Mar 28, 2024)

Susanoomon (BT7-112)13 Q&A

If I've digivolved this card on top of a Tamer card and the Digimon is deleted, what happens to the Tamer card?

It’s trashed.(Mar 28, 2024)

What color cards does this card’s digivolution requirement icon refer to?

This card’s digivolution requirement icon refers to all colors. Currently, this Digimon can digivolve onto a level 6 Digimon that’s red, blue, yellow, green, black, purple, or white.(Mar 28, 2024)

This card’s effect reads, “10 Tamer cards and/or cards with [Hybrid] in their traits from your hand and/or trash,” but does this mean I can only activate the effect by returning 10 cards in my hand or 10 cards in my trash?

No, you can mix and match cards from your hand and trash. As long as you return a total of 10 cards to the bottom of your deck, you can activate the effect.(Mar 28, 2024)

Two Tamers are down and, between your hand and your trash, there are over twenty Tamer or Hybrid cards — enough to feed the warp twice. That pile is what the early game is for in this deck: the Hybrids you discarded and the Tamers you traded are not losses, they are the cost of the finisher. Memory is at 3, both players are on 5 security, and the hand holds both Susanoomon and a third Koji.
