Nothing in this line asks for a card in your hand. Impmon looks at your trash mid-attack and, at twenty cards, digivolves into a Beelzemon that is already down there for three memory. Ai & Mako then suspends and digivolves that Beelzemon into a Blast Mode that is also in the trash for three more, so the same attack that a 1000 DP rookie declared deletes their whole top level and checks two security cards.
