Gaiamon: every link costs them a security card

Appmon does not climb, it attaches. Gaiamon links a free Appmon card every time it attacks, and each link unsuspends it and trashes the top of their security, so one body takes two swings and a card off the stack in the same turn. The second half of the trick is the clause everyone skips: Gaiamon links to any of your Digimon, not only itself, so a spare Gatchmon on the board is a whole extra link slot and a whole extra swing. When linking with one of my Digimon that has a ＜When Linking＞ effect, this card's ＜Your Turn＞ effect activated before that card's ＜When Linking＞ effect, and I app fused that Digimon. Can I then activate the linked card's ＜When Linking＞ effect?

No, you can't activate it. When a card with an effect that's pending activation leaves its current area while activation is pending, the effect can no longer be activated. In this case, the ＜When Linking＞ effect on the linked card triggers upon the link, but it becomes a digivolution card before the effect can activate and is no longer considered a link card, therefore the effect can't activate.(Apr 4, 2025)

Gaiamon is already standing, because the App Fusion that made it costs nothing: Globemon and Charismon fused and both are still in the stack underneath, which is worth knowing since Gaiamon can link cards out of its own digivolution cards too. A spare Gatchmon is on the board and Haru Shinkai is your Tamer. Their side is two Digimon and five security, and nothing they have blocks a 13000 body with Piercing coming.
